Minnie Driver gives birth to a boy

Actress Minnie Driver has given birth to her first child, a baby boy.

Henry Story Driver was born in Los Angeles on Friday and weighed in at 9lbs 12oz, rep Jessica Kolstad confirmed to People.

The 38-year-old actress announced that she was pregnant during an interview with US chatshow host Jay Leno in March.

She has refused to name the dad, saying she wants to keep him out of the public eye. However, she said he will be involved in raising the child.
