Lloyd Webber: 'I would hire Katie Price'

Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber has revealed that he would give Katie Price a role in one of his musicals.

The theatre impresario said he would not rule out hiring Price if she had sufficient talent.

He told Closer: "If Jordan could hack it, I'd put her in one of my shows. But there's a long way between being able to sing a bit and really holding a stage."

Webber, who served as a judge on BBC talent searches I'd Do Anything and How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?, also vowed to return in 2010 to find a new Dorothy for The Wizard Of Oz.
