Hathaway reveals ex arrest 'shock'

Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway has revealed her shock on learning that ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri had been arrested on suspicion of money laundering.

The Princess Diaries star told W that the incident, which occurred shortly after their break-up, made her feel like the rug was pulled out from under her.

Hathaway, 25, added that she spent a week at a friend's house dealing with the news.

"I just started to cry because I thought, I don't have a life right now. And I haven't for some time," she said.

Hathaway can currently be seen alongside Steve Carell in movie Get Smart.
