Baldwin refutes car crash claims

A representative for Alec Baldwin has denied claims that the actor caused a car crash in New York.

According to the New York Post, Baldwin smashed into a limousine as he was leaving the US Open tennis tournament in Queens on Sunday night.

"He just drove his car into the Town Car in his impatience to exit the parking lot," a witness is quoted as saying.

However, Baldwin's spokesperson was quick to refute the accusations, saying: "Alec was cut off and thought their cars hit each other, but they actually didn't. There was no contact and no damage."
