Goody 'terrified' about cancer treatment

Jade Goody will undergo a hysterectomy today in her battle to overcome cervical cancer.

The surgery will begin this morning at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London and is expected to last eight hours.

A friend of Goody told The Sun: "Jade is terrified - she's not in a good state at all. She has been putting on a brave face for her sons. But the doctors told her that the operation will take about eight hours and that has really scared her."

Goody's ex-boyfriend Jeff Brazier will look after their sons Bobby and Freddie while she receives treatment, while mother Jackiey will care for her daughter and grandchildren when she is released from hospital.
