Actor Neil Morrissey has turned his hand to brewing, launching a new proper ale which has found success in supermarkets.
Blonde Ale is predicted to become one of the top ten bestselling ales in the UK by the end of the year if sales persist, according to Tesco.
The actor, last seen in Waterloo Road, is hoping to change the tastes of beer lovers throughout Britain.
"Our ultimate aim for our Blonde Ale is to turn lager drinkers on to the wonders of proper ale," he said.
