Ricky Gervais has revealed that he is often asked whether his smile is really his.
The comedian, star of The Office and Extras, admitted that US journalists sometimes enquire if his "horrible-looking" teeth belong to him.
He claimed that some have a hard time believing that his grin is not the result of a prosthesis, saying: "One journalist said to me, 'Now, in this film you have an amazing set of horrible-looking dentist teeth'... I told him that they were my own teeth. And he went, 'No, they are not!'"
Gervais recently revealed that he avoids British movies because he believes they do not compare to those made in the US.
