Beckinsale: 'My Oxford studies are useless'

Kate Beckinsale has admitted that the three years she spent at Oxford University were wasted.

The actress, who studied Russian at the prestigious institution before leaving to pursue an acting career, confessed that she rarely uses her language skills.

WENN quotes her as saying: "Now I only speak Russian with the woman who does my bikini wax. See what Hollywood does to you?"

Two of Beckinsale's upcoming films, Winged Creatures and Nothing But The Truth, are expected to be released in cinemas later this year.
