'Star Trek' actor Takei marries partner

The 71-year-old, who played Lieutenant Hikaru Sulu in the sci-fi franchise, has been with Altman, 54, for 21 years. They became the first gay couple to gain a marriage licence in West Hollywood earlier this year.
The couple tied the knot at LA's Japanese American National Museum in front of 200 guests.
According to Asianweek, Star Trek alumni Walter Koenig and Nichelle Nichols acted as best man and best lady at the ceremony.
