Dion 'demands Bavarian figs, French cherries'

Celine Dion will not step foot on stage during her current year-long tour unless she has special fruits stocked up in her dressing room, it has been claimed.

The 40-year-old Canadian singer needs a supply of Bavarian figs and French cherries before she can perform, reports The Mirror.

A dentist and a physiotherapist have also been signed up for the 'Taking Chances' tour, while Dion has 11 bodyguards at her beck and call.

Earlier this year, the diva admitted to a shoe obsession which has led to her stocking up between two and three thousand pairs of shoes.
