Sugababe Amelle: 'I'm not a bad girl'

Amelle Berrabah has insisted that she will put her bad girl reputation behind her.

The Sugababe has made tabloid headlines in the last 12 months after being arrested for hitting a clubber, having her boyfriend Freddie Fuller wrongly accused of raping her younger sister, then seeing him attacked with a machete.

She told Metro: "I am so not a bad girl. I'm a normal person. A nice girl. I hate the way they have a picture painted of me."

Discussing her arrest, the 24-year-old explained: "I genuinely had nothing to do with it. It was self defence. Randomly, someone pulled my hair and I fell."
