The production, which also features Tony Sheldon and Oliver Thornton, will open at the Palace Theatre next March.
Written by Stephen Elliott and Allan Scott, the show is based on the award-winning film set in the Australian outback.
The musical had its world premiere in Sydney in October 2006 and has since played to audiences in Melbourne and New Zealand.
It tells the story of drag queens Tick (Donovan), Bernadette (Sheldon) and Adam (Thornton) as they tour the desert in a battered old bus to perform their sensational shows.
Bookings for the production, to be directed by Simon Phillips, are now being taken for performances until September 26, 2009.
