The TV Burp host was inspired by the success of Paul Newman's salad dressing and has met with nut farmers in Malawi to start his own brand.
The comedian will receive no money from his new enterprise, but hopes the nuts will become a household name to benefit families in need.
"It would be great if it could take off like Paul Newman's salad dressing," he told ITN.
"Every penny possible is going to support fairtrade peanut farmers and their communities like the one I recently visited in Mchinji, Malawi.
"I was particularly struck by how positively the peanut farmers viewed the chance to get their nuts on to the fairtrade scheme and the real difference it seemed to be making to their lives."
The entertainer developed the product with Liberation, a 100% fairtrade nut company supported by Comic Relief.
Harry's Nuts will go on sale in shops, supermarkets and pubs from next month.
