Gallagher to step into ring with Hatton

Oasis rocker Noel Gallagher will carry one of Ricky Hatton's boxing championship belts to the ring at his next fight.

According to The Sun, the singer will be on-hand to make an entrance with Hatton when he takes on Paulie Malignaggi in Las Vegas.

"Noel has agreed in principle. They're big mates," a source told the newspaper.

Gallagher recently likened his on-stage assault in Toronto to "a sparring session" with the boxer.
