TV presenter Gloria Hunniford has revealed how she deals with her grief four years after the death of daughter Caron Keating.

Hunniford told Fern Britton and Philip Schofield on This Morning that she regularly finds lone feathers which she believes to be "messages" from her late daughter.

She said: "Caron believed feathers were calling cards from angels. It is extraordinary because I am constantly finding isolated feathers, including one in the studio today - even though there were no feathers around.

"One feather fell at my feet the day of Caron's funeral... I find it a great comfort."

Keating died at the age of 41 in 2004 following a long battle with breast cancer. Hunniford published the book Next To You: Caron's Courage Remembered By Her Mother a year after the death.

She recently wrote a guide for the bereaved entitled Always With You.
