Mills sues former publicist for £250,000

Heather Mills is suing her former publicist Michele Elyzabeth for more than £250,000, the Daily Mail reports.

Mills alleges breach of confidence and falsehood over newspaper allegations about her failed marriage to Sir Paul McCartney.

The 40-year-old launched the High Court action against Elyzabeth, 58, following her claims that Mills was obsessed with money and fame. The publicist said Mills had "no heart" and accused her of trying to smear Sir Paul's name during their divorce earlier this year.

The pair worked together for four years but went their separate ways in July. Mills said she had lost faith in her employee's judgement, while Elyzabeth said she resigned because Mills was difficult to work for.

The claim for breach of confidence was issued the day after the first instalment of Elyzabeth's account of working for Mills was serialised in the News Of The World. The case is expected to be heard within the next eight weeks.
