Cruz: 'I find fame tiresome'

Hollywood actress Penelope Cruz has had enough of being a celebrity.

The 34-year-old actress, who recently admitted fault for the demise of her relationships with Tom Cruise and Matthew McConaughey, commented that she tries to find as much time for her personal life as she can.

Cruz said that she used to be "addicted" to work, but now she has learned to pace herself with her choices, as going from movie set to movie set can make life 'pointless'. She also revealed a disdain for Hollywood's obsession with appearance.

She said: "As I get older, I become less patient with all the time spent in the chair with the hair and the make-up and all of that. I have to put so much time into looking good for my work that in my private life I want to be more comfortable."

Earlier this year, Scarlett Johansson, who kisses Cruz in new film Vicky Christina Barcelona, commented that the scene is the "least sexy thing you can imagine".

"There were like 60 crewmen [sitting around] eating salami sandwiches! It's really the least sexy thing you can ever imagine!"
