Pete Doherty has been bombarding Kate Moss with phone calls begging the model to take him back, reports The Mirror.
Moss and The Kills rocker Jamie Hince have reportedly split 'for good' after being together for more than a year.
A friend of Doherty said: "Pete is pretty single-minded about it. He is desperate for her to give him another chance.
"He's spent most of the time in his Marlborough cottage trying to figure out a way to persuade Kate to take him back. He believes Kate is 'the one' and won't give up the idea of reuniting."
Moss is said to be distraught over her break-up with Hince, which reportedly came about after he tired of her party lifestyle.
