Posh "furious" over diet pill claims

Victoria Beckham has hit out at a British celebrity magazine for claiming that she uses diet pills to maintain her slim figure.

The publication claimed that Beckham's sister Louise Adams brought the pills to her when she flew to Los Angeles from the UK to visit.

"It's such an irresponsible thing for someone to say," Beckham said of the allegations. "Lots of young girls do look up to me, and I just think it's ludicrous that they can completely make something like that up.

"You have to take these things really seriously. There are young girls out there who will think it's cool to take slimming tablets. Things like that are dangerous and we were furious with it."

Gordon Ramsay recently claimed that Beckham "does eat, but everything's steamed".
