Katona's mum to lose house over debts?

Kerry Katona's mother Sue could lose her house to pay off her daughter's debts, The Mirror claims.

Katona, who was declared bankrupt in August, purchased a home in Padgate, Warrington for her mother nine years ago.

However, with the 28-year-old still owing £82,000 in tax bills, she may sell off the property to clear her debts.

"[Sue] is petrified," a source said. "She has no money and her home means everything to her. Sue is praying she doesn't get turfed out."

The source added that it is unlikely that Katona and her estranged mother will reconcile: "It's sad that Kerry and her mum can't make up. Sue has very few people in her life now, but Mark [Croft]can't stand her and will not have her anywhere near Kerry or the children."

Katona's spokesman Max Clifford stated that his client's bankruptcy "will be sorted very quickly and Sue's house should be safe".
