Police are investigating allegations that someone is trying to sell snaps of the actress and her family. One of the images is thought to show the 17-year-old feeding her three-month-old daughter Maddie.
A rep for Britney Spears's younger sister told OK!: "We have been informed that someone was trying to solicit personal photos that belong to Jamie Lynn, and currently the proper authorities are looking into the matter."
An employee at a photo store is believed to have made extra copies of the images, which were taken on Spears's boyfriend Casey Aldridge's camera.
Police in Louisiana are now reported to be hunting for the man.
Spears gave birth to her daughter in June, later describing her pregnancy as "perfect".
