Love seeks assistant via MySpace

Courtney Love has posted an advert on MySpace asking for a new assistant.

The rock star confessed that she decided to use her personal blog to recruit someone for her entourage after becoming frustrated with employment agencies.

She wrote: "I know this is weird [but] the agencies suck and I'm sick of pigs who steal. It's as simple as that, so f*** it - why not try MySpace? Beats Monster."

Love stressed that candidates must be "insanely clean" and based near Malibu.

She also noted that she is looking for "someone who really wants to get into the film business" because they would be working on Heavier Than Heaven, a biopic about her late husband Kurt Cobain.

Love concluded her post by saying: "No superfans please. And it's very good money."
