Goody faces a year of chemotherapy

Jade Goody faces a year of chemotherapy after learning that her cancer has spread, says The Sun.

The reality star underwent eight hours of surgery earlier in the month and had thought that the disease had been caught before it moved to the rest of her body.

However, doctors have found that the cancer has spread to the sac around her abdominal organs and have given Goody a 50% chance of survival.

A source close to Goody said: "This is not her worst nightmare - that would be dying and leaving her children. But it comes pretty close."

Goody reportedly fears the effects the treatment will have on her body and her ability to care for sons Jack and Bobby.

"She had hoped that she would not lose all her hair. But now she has been told that she will definitely lose it all because the chemo will be much stronger," added the source. "She's really, really upset. Jade is really worried that she will feel so ill and weak that she won't be able to look after the boys or do anything."
