George Michael 'flees UK for France'

George Michael has reportedly left the UK following his drugs arrest.

The ex-Wham! star was found with crack cocaine and marijuana in a public toilet in Hampstead Heath last Friday and subsequently let off with a police caution.

Michael was allegedly spotted with partner Kenny Goss at Luton Airport last night. The popstar's publicist could not confirm his destination, but it is thought that he has jetted off to his home in the South of France.

"They looked like they were going away for some time judging by all the luggage they were carrying," an onlooker is quoted as saying.

Michael issued a statement earlier this week apologising for his arrest.

"I want to apologise to my fans for screwing up again, and to promise them I'll sort myself out, and to say sorry to everybody else, just for boring them," he said.
