Aguilera encourages fans to vote

Popstar Christina Aguilera has urged fans to take the time to vote in this year's US presidential election.

Speaking at last night's Rock The Vote party at Hollywood's Esquire House, the singer said people should voice their opinion by heading to the ballot box in November.

"Everyone that is able to have an opinion should let it be heard and should voice it," she said.

Aguilera recently announced that her greatest hits collection Keeps Gettin' Better will be released on November 3.
