Morrison: 'My baby hates my singing'

James Morrison has revealed that his young daughter isn't the biggest fan of his singing.

The musician's girlfriend recently gave birth to Elise, but while he tries to sing her to sleep, she simply cries in response.

However, Morrison has told BANG Showbiz that having a child has taught him a new skill - nappy changing. He said: "I taught myself nappies, I'm pretty proud of my nappy-changing skills, actually."

The singer added that his latest material has been influenced by the arrival of his daughter, saying it was difficult not to write about it.

"I didn't really know how I was going to deal with it. I wanted to it be a private thing but I got so excited by it, I couldn't help writing about it all," he said.
