Goody prepares to tell sons the truth

Jade Goody has decided that she will tell her two young sons the truth about her illness next week, according to a report.

The cancer-stricken star has told Bobby, five, and Freddie, four, that she has been suffering from a "bad tummy" in recent weeks.

Goody checked out of hospital yesterday following a two-week stay. It is believed that she will soon begin a year-long course of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

"She is bracing herself for some horrendous treatment but she is more worried about the boys," a source told The Mirror. "Until now she has done her best to shelter them by telling them she has a bad tummy.

"Now she knows she also has to begin to prepare them. She is determined to have a few days enjoying a normal life with the boys before she sits them down to explain in a way they will understand."

Goody discovered that she was suffering from cervical cancer as she took part in the Indian version of Big Brother last month.
