Tisdale stunned by salad demand

High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale has revealed that she was shocked when a mother told her to give some salad to her child.

The actress told Fox News that she was approached by a group of small girls she assumed wanted an autograph while she was dining with her family.

However, one of the children's mums "demanded" that the Headstrong star offer a bite of her salad to her daughter.

"She wasn't joking and she wouldn't go away when I said no. It was so odd that a grown woman would do that, especially in front of her kids. It was so wrong," she said.

Tisdale will be back on screen in the third instalment in the High School Musical franchise next month.
