Paul Gascoigne finds love again

Paul Gascoigne has reportedly started dating a blonde ex-model who believes she can turn his life around.

According to the Sunday Mirror, Gazza, 41, met mother-of-three Sally Mulholland at a bar in Portugal two weeks ago. Sally, who runs a photography business in the Algarve, has since been spotted on dates with the troubled star in the UK.

Speaking to a friend about their first meeting, Sally revealed: "He just started talking to me. He was funny, clever and witty with a great sense of humour. I was swept off my feet. I thought, 'What a guy'. He was amazing. But I didn't know who he was.

"Eventually, he told me. I hadn't recognised him as he looked so different. Since then we've been constantly on the phone. We'll spend as much time as we possibly can together, we're really happy."

Gazza reunited with his ex-wife Sheryl in July after being discharged from The Priory clinic, where he received treatment for alcoholism. He walked out on her and started drinking again just days later, however.

"Paul is a great guy with an unbelievable energy," added Sally, who is in her 40s. "He has to try to channel that energy for a good cause. He cannot stand still. When he is sober he is really a great man. When he has a drink he gets very emotional. His only demon at the moment is wine.

"But he has promised that he will have a fresh go at sorting himself out. And I will be there for him."
