Ledger's father Kim told Australia's Herald Sun that the family had decided to give everything to the child. The 28-year-old actor had specified that his estate be divided between his parents and three sisters in his will, which was signed two years before Matilda was born.
Ledger's former partner, Michelle Williams, was expected to lodge a claim on the will on behalf of their daughter.
"There is no claim," Ledger said. "Our family has gifted everything to Matilda."
The Brokeback Mountain star was found dead at his Manhattan apartment on January 22 this year. An autopsy later revealed that he died from an "accidental overdose" caused by mixing different prescription medicines.
