Walliams: 'I paid Diaz to do splits'

David Walliams has revealed that he paid Cameron Diaz to perform the splits for him when he met her in the US.

The Little Britain actor met Diaz at the Chateau Marmont hotel, where he spotted her performing an exercise routine.

"She didn't know who I was but I was excited to meet her," he told The Sun.

"She was doing funny yoga moves with her legs in the air. She was lying back on a sofa."

He continued: "She had trousers on but her legs were split right apart and I said, 'Can you do it again before you go?' and she said, 'No'.

"I said, 'What if I give you ten dollars?' and she went, 'All right then'. She was just being playful."

Walliams also denied rumours that he is dating Britain's Next Top Model contestant Stefanie Wilson, claiming that they are just close friends.

"I've had a couple of nights out with Stefanie - I'm very lucky to have a lot of pretty friends," he said.
