The actress launched a court case against the Daily Star after the tabloid published a picture of her on September 11 that she claimed was an invasion of privacy.
Along with the damages, Miller received an apology in today's edition of the newspaper. It read: "On September 11, we published an article about the actress Sienna Miller. The article was accompanied by a photograph of Sienna in a building in Los Angeles.
"We accept, as we said in the article, that Ms Miller was extremely harassed and distressed by persistent pursuit and intimidating tactics adopted by numerous paparazzi in seeking to obtain photographs of her, including the very photograph that we published.
"We apologise to Sienna for publishing this photograph."
