Walliams 'used to dress up as Wonder Woman'

David Walliams has revealed that his older sister used to dress him up in women's clothes.

The Little Britain star told Heart FM breakfast DJ Jamie Theakston that his penchant for cross-dressing began in the school playground.

He said: "My sister is a couple of years older than me and when I was younger she used to dress me up.

"She used to dress me up in a mauve bridesmaid's dress and a fur hat. I used to dress up in school plays and play Wonder Woman in the playground."

Little Britain USA, the American spinoff of Walliams and Matt Lucas's hit sketch comedy show, begins on October 3 on BBC One.
