Lohan: 'I want to adopt children'

Lindsay Lohan has revealed that she would like to adopt a child when she is older.

Lohan, 22, claimed that she is keen to follow Angelina Jolie and Madonna's lead by helping a baby "in need" or from another country.

"At some point, I want to adopt a kid - a child in need or a newborn from another country. I'm not sure," she told Marie Claire.

Speaking about her relationship with Samantha Ronson, Lohan added: "People can think what they want. I'm really happy and that's all that really matters.

"I've made the decision to move forward. So yeah, she's a great person."
