Crowe: 'I worried about DiCaprio'

Russell Crowe has revealed that he worried about Leonardo DiCaprio when the actor shot to stardom following Titanic.

Crowe and DiCaprio, who reunite in next month's Body Of Lies, worked together on western The Quick And The Dead prior to Titanic.

"I was a little worried about him," said Crowe. "The massive success of something like [Titanic], it's not always a positive thing, particularly when you're that young.

"Suddenly you find yourself on lunchboxes and bedroom slippers. That can have a deteriorating effect on the inside."

Meanwhile, DiCaprio likened working with Crowe to "hopping on a train", adding: "You just have to have faith and make that leap. But once you're on, you realise how focused he really is."
