Thousands of actors and technicians went on strike this week after claiming that they have not been paid for months.
Federation of Western India Cine Employees spokesperson Dinesh Chaturvedi announced that "the producers have agreed to our demands".
"The strike is over. We have agreed to the same demands as on the earlier Memorandum of Understanding," said Sushma Shiromanee of the Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association.
The Memorandum of Understanding includes a guarantee that wages will go up by 15% per year.
