Gabriela Irimia has spoken out about her relationship with MP Lembit Opik.

The Cheeky Girls star had a two-year affair with the politician, becoming engaged to him in April.

Now with property developer Nick Zapolski, Irimia commented that she does not regret splitting up with Opik in July.

She said: "I was very depressed with Lembit ... I felt like I was brainwashed. I felt too bad [to say no].

"I know people will think I'm rushing in, but Nick and I are totally in love. I don't miss Lembit at all!"
