Dixon 'wants a man for her birthday'

Singer Alesha Dixon has revealed that she would like a new man as a birthday present.

The Strictly Come Dancing champion, who turns 30 tomorrow, told the Sun that she wants a lover now that she has moved on from ex-husband MC Harvey.

"I was sitting in my house last night and my cousin was upstairs with her boyfriend - and I was jealous," she said.

Dixon added that her hopes of finding love on the set of the video for new single 'The Boy Does Nothing' were dashed when she found out no men were involved.

"When I was told I'd be getting up close and personal with six dancers for the video I didn't realise they meant girls rather than guys," the former Mis-Teeq star remarked.
