Matt Damon completes Miami triathlon

Matt Damon took part in the Escape To Miami Triathlon on Sunday morning, the Miami Herald reports.

The Bourne Ultimatum star revealed that he competed in the endurance event at the request of his brother Kyle.

"I knew I was in trouble when the old guy with the oxygen tank passed me," he said.

The actor, who completed the 6.2 mile challenge in 59 minutes and 54 seconds, added that he struggled in the race because he was carrying extra weight for a film role.

"I was doing this movie this summer, The Informant, where I had to put on all this weight, and my brother told me, 'October 5, save the date'," he explained.
