Miley Cyrus hosts Disney birthday bash

Miley Cyrus has thrown a birthday party at Disneyland seven weeks before her sweet sixteenth.

According to the Associated Press, she was joined by celebrities Steve Carell, Tyra Banks and Jennifer Love Hewitt at the resort.

Both Miley and her father, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, performed songs at a mini concert at the bash, which was also attended by 5,000 fans.

The Hannah Montana star commented that she does not expect too many presents on her birthday on November 23.

"My parents shut down Disneyland for me, so I'm good for a while," she said.

The BBC recently announced that Cyrus will headline its Big Switch Live concert with Fall Out Boy.
