Weight gain leaves Cassidy at "low ebb"

Natalie Cassidy's weight gain and dwindling work schedule have left her at her "lowest ebb", reports Now.

The former EastEnders actress has apparently kept all the clothes she wore when she slimmed to a size eight while working on her fitness DVD Then And Now, despite having since returned to a size 16.

"It’s so sad. Natalie is at her lowest ebb. Her phone is no longer ringing off the hook with job offers and she just can't shift the distress and embarrassment of putting the weight back on or having let down the people who bought her fitness DVD. The more down she gets, the more she eats... it is a vicious cycle," said a source.

A spokesperson for the 25-year-old said she has a number of projects in the pipeline and is "happier than ever" with her life.

However, the insider claimed that Cassidy has been spending her time "walking aimlessly around north London".

Earlier reports suggested that she was reluctant to leave her home.
