Billy Ray Cyrus has given his blessing to daughter Miley's relationship with Justin Gaston.
The country singer told People that the former underwear model is "a good friend of the family".
He said: "Justin's a good friend. A good friend of the family.
"I met [him] as I was hosting [US TV talent contest] Nashville Star and I introduced the two of them. He's a good kid. Great heart. Lives for the light and he's very talented."
Gaston recently attended Miley's 16th birthday party at Disneyland and reportedly duetted with her father on a rendition of his hit song 'Achy Breaky Heart'.
