Oliver refuses to kiss 'minging' fans

Jamie Oliver has admitted that he refuses to kiss "minging" fans due to a fear of contracting herpes.

Oliver, 33, told Absolute Radio that he instructed his security guard to prevent women from kissing him during his latest book signing in London.

He revealed: "I said 'Look, you know, I'm very loyal to my wife and if I have to keep kissing these birds, right, it's only a numbers game before I get herpes. And once you've got it... it never goes. And I'll be growing flapjack on me lip'."

However, the chef added that his security guard has a sense of humour and used to let "the really minging one with flapjack on her lip" kiss him, while turning pretty women away.

Earlier this week, Oliver publicly praised the people of Rotherham after being accused of portraying them as "thickos" in his Channel 4 show Ministry Of Food.
