Ex-Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker has commented that he is thankful to be alive following his plane crash last month.
The musician and DJ AM were involved in a collision which claimed the lives of four other people.
He commented that he is doing well in hospital, where he is being treated for second and third degree burns.
"I am doing the best I can possibly be... I'm so anxious to get out of here," he said.
"I hope not [to be hospitalised] much longer... I sit here and I read books and watch TV. I think if this surgery went well, I'll be here for at most two weeks."
