Leona Lewis is believed to have rejected a £1 million deal to open a sale at Harrods because the store sells fur products.

The singer was apparently approached by Mohamed Al Fayed, but stuck to her vegetarian principles and turned down the offer, reports The Times.

The X Factor winner was recently voted the world's sexiest vegetarian and claims not to own any garments made from animal products.

Harrods declined to comment on the reports.

Lewis, 23, recently spoke out on crime levels in London after a number of her friends were involved in incidents.
