Beyoncé: 'We knew we would marry'

Beyoncé Knowles has revealed that she and husband Jay-Z always knew they would get married.

The pair tied the knot at Jay-Z's New York home in April.

"We've been together for a long time. We always knew it would happen," Knowles told Essence magazine.

The singer added that she decided against a traditional white wedding as she did not want the attention.

"It's been my day so many days already," she said.
