Paradis 'intimidated" by red carpet

Vanessa Paradis has admitted that she is "intimidated" by the red carpet, adding that she does not know how to "work" it.

The French singer, 35, also revealed that she and partner Johnny Depp deliberately avoid the celebrity lifestyle.

She told Elle: "The red carpet is not something I really know how to work. It intimidates me. I feel very tiny.

"I don't have famous neighbours and if I did, I'd avoid them. I don't live the jet-set.

"I'm really lucky. I do stay in wonderful houses, hotels and that's amazing but we're not very sociable at all. We don't go to parties or premieres."

Paradis and Depp have dated for ten years and have two children. Rumours that the couple had married earlier this year were later denied by their spokesperson.
