Simon Pegg has signed a £1 million deal to write his autobiography, reports say.
The British actor, who wrote and starred in Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz, will pen his memoirs along with two more books for publisher Hodder & Stoughton.
A spokesman for the publishing house said: "Pegg writes for us but somehow the films appeal to America too. He is our biggest export. I don't think there is any British actor of his ilk who has been so successful."
Pegg rose to prominence with cult Channel 4 sitcom Spaced before taking on movie roles including Run, Fat Boy, Run, Mission: Impossible 3 and Star Trek.
His lastest film How To Lose Friends And Alienate People is currently number one at the UK box office.
