DiCaprio helps tornado victims

Leonardo DiCaprio has backed a campaign to rebuild a US town devastated when a tornado hit last year.

Ten people were killed and 95% of the infrastructure of Greensburg, Kansas was destroyed by the natural disaster.

"The most profound lesson I've learned in all of this work is that people don't want to be told what to do or how to think," DiCaprio told OK.

The Titanic star recently produced and appeared in a public service announcement encouraging young people in America to vote in the forthcoming presidential election.
