Jolie: 'I've bought Maddox a knife'

Angelina Jolie has admitted to buying a knife for her adopted son Maddox.

The actress told W magazine that she wanted her six-year-old son to know the benefits and dangers of carrying a weapon.

"We take him to a special shop," she said. "We also talk about samurais and the idea about defending someone as good. We talk about everything."

Jolie added that her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, had taken her knife shopping when she was 11.
